Tie Rod Nut Size
Wondering if anyone knows the size of the nut that secures the tie rod to the arm from the hub?
Thanks in advance... Matt

The wrench size is 17mm. The nut thread size is M10 x 1.00 This is a fine thread so it might be hard to find at the local hardware store. The associated cotter pin is a 2mm x 25.
Be careful not to over-torque the nut. I think the torque spec is only around 30 lb-ft, which is rather light. I had a brand new nut strip out when tightening it with the torque wrench en route to 30-something lb-ft.

Kudos Kevin! That's exactly what I'm looking for.
Best Matt

No problem.
BTW, I was just messing with you about the 17mm wrench size. Shoulda put after that sentence.Might be able to locate a nut @ NAPA or equivlent store. Seems that many metric tie rods might use the same size nut? I noticed the other day that the castle nut on my Mitsu./Laser looked like it might be the same size?
