gas tanks
will any gas tank fit into any 911? ie a 1977 911s gas tank into a 1970 911T?

The easy answer is yes. '65 to '89 anyway. The detailed answer is Carbs, MFI, CIS, EFI induction systems require different inlet/outlets. Most can be converted but again the easy answer is FI systems require return lines, carbs need only one.
