Will this dizzy work for me?

My 69T currently has a Marelli distributor. I am looking at putting in a Bosch. Which I would like to convert pointless. I have a line on a Bosch dizzy from a 75 Targa. The numbers on the unit are
Bosch 0 231 184 007 050 JFUD 6

Does anyone know if this will work in my car?

I notice it has a vaccum advance, whereas my Marelli does not.

What would need to be machined? The shaft? Would the lower gear be the same?

Thanks Pete. Very thorough and relative to my position.
I didn't know Fishcop had done this.
