Modifying bra to accommodate oil cooling?
I was curious, How much of an effect does modifying the front bumper have on cooling the oil? I ave a bra on the front of my car and do not wish to take it off, I was thinking of simply cutting a small section out of the bra and then cutting the front bumper with the Dremel to get some more airflow in there... I also have the oil cooler scoop on the outside...
any ideas? Right now, the car has the trombone cooler, soon to be replaced with the Carrera cooler.. |

You could DIY, but if you want to make it look neat and your sewing skills are minimal like mine, ask your neighborhood auto upholsterer. He can cut and bind the edges so it looks like the factory did it.
Even with the Carrera cooler, you'll need a push fan to encourage air flow, with or without the scoop. Try Spal. For even more effective cooling, install a front-mount cooler and the appropriate front bumper to house it. No fan necessary. Sherwood |
