Removing the rear deck on a Targa

How do you you remove the rear deck? I need to pull out the speakers back there.

There are 4 screws I think, that hold it on. Those screws on top are the ones holding the snap/strap for the fold down part of the seat. Once those are out, the whole deck can pulled up slightly and toward the front of the car. I can't remember exactly but, the carpet from the seats is up underneath that deck. It was pretty easy.

RCM and wowzer are on it. You only need to unscrew the 4 screws that wowzer points out in the vertical (behind the folddown seat backs). Then gently lift the whole panel up to free the metal 'tongue' that is holding it in place (it'll become obvious what I'm talking about after you take the rear deck off) and slide it forward.

Don't mess with the snap/strap - it has nothing to do with removing the rear deck.
