After a funky week of on and off rain, today was fabulous. I took some photos on a road called West Ridgecrest on Mt. Tam in the San Francisco Bay Area. I stopped the car to watch the buzzards soar on the updrafts (there was a hanglider unloading his stuff). The buzzards would just crawl, about three feet above the grass. They soared within 20 feet of me. I just sat there and watched. The road was great, no tourist or bicyclist.

Great 911, nice location.
My wife was raised in Mill Valley, they enjoyed a beach house at Stinson and a Cabin at Donner lake. Mill Valley is a great location. |
