911 master cylinder feed lines
My rebuilt 1974 911 is now nicely taking shape, and I've got to the braking system. I have replaced the master cylinder but realised that I no longer had the plastic component of the feed lines - I still have the last 2 inches or so (the curvy metal bits) that actually insert into the top of the MC. Is the type/specification of tube that I should use to connect the reservoir to the MC vital? Could I use lengths of the braided hose shown on the Pelican web site to link reservoir to MC? As it is a right hand drive car (as I'm in rainy England) sourcing complete new feed lines will be a challenge!
Thanks Chris ![]() |

When my old ones sprung a leak I replaced both lines with plastic tubing at a cost of $1.50. They wanted $78 per line for the factory stuff. The metal parts are what's important as they have a lip to connect into the rubber seals on top of the MC.
