$30,000 Weissach SC?

Can it Hit $30K?

(Also, wasn't that car for sale on Pelican or Rennlist recently? I remember the mudflaps!)

Personally I think private bid auctions are BS, who really knows what goes on , with these type of auctions. So yeah I think it will hit 30k with the right amount of shills

It must be that beautiful Platinum Metallic paint. --very nice.

Thats not the most stock Weissach I've seen. Most noteably, the wheels. (should be color-coded 15, 7s&8s) and the steering wheel (should be a 3-spoke) Gotta love that Blau, though.

that is way too much for an SC even for a weisach. I think i remember seeing this same car before when i was in the market for a 911. Whoever pay this much either has too much money or is a fool.

I think what happened here is this dealer sells Corvettes and is used to a certain build quality. So when he saw the quality of the 911 he thought this thing has got to be worth a lot more than these Vettes

I think he's buying it for himself.

My sister sold her Weissach about two years ago for about $10.5k. Her interior was superior to that car's, but the car needed paint.

I seem to recall all U.S. 1980 SC's came with 85 mph speedos, not 150. I wonder if the mileage is correct

It also never said if that was the original paint.

Paint is wrong, fuchs are wrong, interior is wrong, it just goes to show you, buff her up and claim it's rare, someone will bite

The color is not wrong. The speedo is. That is suspicious. The Fuchs should be color coded Platinium. As for the interior being a puke color, not it ain't and will grow on you, I have one Weissach now for 1.5 years and I like the color. I need new carpets though.
How it can get that high is amazing.

Looks like it's been in a front ender as well. The bellows are all out of shape. Maybe they used it to push all those Vetts around?
