Targa Top Vent Windows

Just got done replacing the door seal on my 79 and thought I had cured the water leak. After the garden hose test it looks like its getting in via the vent window is there supposed to be some sort of seal around the metal frame as it enters the door?

Yes, but if it's missing or leaking you can form a good seal from some black body putty

Next stupid question anyone got a part number? All I seem to find is the gasket around the glass.

It's hard to tell but 901 531 933 20

and 999 915 706 00 which is just tape are what I see listed.

As I said some good body putty can be used, I made a temporary one years ago and never got around to replacing it.

Thanks. Off to the garage. Its either fix the leak or put in clear door panels and make a fish tank out of it.
