Question Any fan experts?

I have a couple extra 11 blade fans both have 3.75"diameter pulley areas, one is 9inches blade tip to tip, housing #930.106.101.0R. The other fan is 10 inches tip to tip. What year are they from and what year will they fit?both are different from what I have on my 79sc. thanks.....

There were two different fan diameters used throughout the years. These are typically measured in mm. There's the 225mm versions and the 245mm versions. The larger 245mm, I believe was used in the Carrera 3.0 and the 78 and 79 SCs. IN '80 the SCs went back to the smaller 225 mm version.

They are not interchangeable without changing the fan, housing, engine shroud etc...

Wrong, the only use of the 226mm fans(other than on an R model) was the '78 -'79 SC. ALL others and all turbos(thru '89) used 245mm.

Do a search there have been several good threads on this topic.
