'84 targa 3.2 Cruise Control

I've gotten tired of not having cruise on my '84 3.2 targa so I have decided to gather all the parts and install the original factory cruise control. I have accumulated all the parts (per the factory parts listing) but there is no instillation diagram as to how everything goes in and how the wiring harness is routed.

So could I get someone to take some pics of a car with the factory installed cruise unit.

I believe the silver "Brain box" mounts under the drivers seat? Not sure exactly how the wiring harness runs along with the vacuum lines.

TIA

In my '87, the silver CC box mounts under the dash radio. I assume same for '84, but not certain.
My car is still in the paint shop, so I can't get photos right now.

I have a 1984 911 Targa and have just finished a year long engine out project: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/1153485-pulled-engine-my-84-targa-now-fun-begins.html

The cruse control servo, where the vacuum lines connect and it pulls on the throttle to control speed, is in the engine bay. You can see it circled in yellow in the picture below.

The picture below shows what is under the driver's seat, the cruise control brain is not there. I'm not sure where the brain is, but if you can tell me where it is, I'll post a picture.

Did you check under the front hood behind the black cover, per post #3? It's a silver box with one connector.
Maybe it was removed from the vehicle, right?

I have an '84 3.2 and the above post is correct - it's behind the black cover in the frunk.

On your 84 it will be in the trunk, as the photo above shows it.
