Lol. R&T's skidpad is banked and 1/4 mile strip is downhill.

John Phillips is awesome. If you remember the Cadillac Escalade EXT article he wrote (nov 02?), it's one of my favorite automotive articles of all time.

Wow....
Elemental! A bit damp in the rain, but hey...it never rains in Britian!

R&T has Peter Egan....C&D has Phillips...and the British rags have more weird and outragous opinions!
When I saw that car I thought I was looking at someold designs that a firend and I were cooking up years ago...
I was involved in a project in SoCal that used the truss like tubing as its exoskeleton, but it never got off the drawing board...or did it?? Frank???

Very cool..I want one again!

And since were OT anyway, what sequential box does the Caterham 7 use??

does anyone have interest in a video of my 250gt cal spyder replica that was used in the movie Ferris Bueller? Basically, a cobra underneath dressed up in connolly leather and Ferrari trim bits. A crude, rude, loud, obnoxious, nuts and bolts car that is underengineered, but fun!

people don;t know what to make of it...some actually think they are seeing a 7 figure car driving around with a 35 yr old in a baseball hat.

My brother in law is an aspiring producer and edited in clips from the movie...a bit over the top...but what the heck.

The 250 has to be the sexiest car ever made.

Tell yo' bro' -- aspiring producers better not get caught violating copyright laws - esp. now w/ those guys on the warpath...

Wow, it's probably like 40Miles to the galon too. Gas savings alone would pay for it.
