koni 82R-1647 ?

Hi all,

Just found a pair of Konis #82R-1647. They look similar than the classicals 86-1647 for 68-73 911s but I can't find any info about them.

Any idea ?

The 82R-1647 are idential to 86-1647. the 86 is a later numberering system. The 82R are probably from the 70's. They are the Koni inserts for the Boge Strut. Be sure you have the Boge Strut before you buy. Also I think this insert was only used on 69-74 911's. I had 82R-1647 on my 69 that were shot and I called Koni and they told me the above. good Luck.

Thanks jstobo

I have Boge struts but I am not sure that buying 30 or 35 years old shocks could be a good deal...
