Proper plug gap for "81 SC
Doing the distributor cap, rotor, wires and plugs this weekend. Picked up NGK BP 7 plugs and Bosch for everything else. What is the proper gap for the plugs, been reading around and cannot get a consensus. Owner manual in German being a Euro spec car (makes a difference I believe in proper gap) and am waiting delivery for another week on a 911 maintenance book. Anyone?

Thanks for the quick feed back. Do you think the NGK 7's will run to cold or will be fine. I found this plug to be very common choice among all PO in varying models and years.

Should be fine. The two plugs cross reference as equals.
Make sure the terminals are screwed on tight at the tips. Use dialectric grease inside the boots. I usually put a drop of engine oil on the threads. Only change on cold motor. |
