M Logo SSI heat exchangers on '84 Carrera?

I have a 1984 3.2 carrera already equipped with a B&B rear muffler (single outlet), and a fabspeed bypass pipe. Manifold is factory original and I have been considering upgrading to the SSI units. I know that it's the owners of SC's (prev. model) that see the biggest hp/torque gains on this mod - is there anything to be gained making this upgrade with the Carrera? Interested in all & any opinions......
