salvagable bilstein insert?
I took my sport inserts out today and one of them wouldn't come, so I used a pipe wrech, gently, to grabe the shock body just above the threads on the strut. I gave it just a little tug and off comes the green sleeve leaving the piston inside the strut and still stuck. I finally got it out with some 2x4's and a tiny jack. with almost no problem. So I have this left over, see pic, is it garbage or could someone use this? The other one is perfect. They only had 1700 miles on them. Being impatient will cost ya

Can't help on the insert, but it looks like someone finally found a use for Coors Light. What did you do with the beer?

I am sure Bilstien can put them back together again for you, or maybe even send you some info. I have found them helpful on the phone many times in the past!
