These are in really good condition: Two-piece Alu, no circlip, with 3 small O-rings in the center and a large red O-ring at each end.
Where do I get the small O-rings? Are they just standard size? Are these Alu-two-piece OEM? Aftermarket? Thanks ![]()

If these are the standard two-piece oil return tubes, our host sells both the tubes here.

I'd call pelican first. They can prolly supply them.
If you can't find the o-rings, give me the ID and cross section dimentions and I can look up the dash number in one of my books. Then it is just a matter of finding the viton o-ring which is very easy too. I have a couple places where you can order them and have them delivered. |

Thanks shrouded, I know about that link; PP shows the two-piece STEEL-version with the circlip. What I have is two-piece ALU version without circlip but with two thin O-rings inside and two larger ones at each end.
Thanks for the offer, sammyg2, I'll do some measuring. If these ALU tubes wouldn't be in perfect condition, I would just get the steel version. But......................

If this is for the 3.2ss, just put new 1 piece factory ones in, they are cheap and much more reliable.

You peel off the orings, Do a google search for industrial rubber in your town. I found 2 in San Carlos, CA. One of them just gave me a handful for free.

Thanks, yelcab.
Hi Jeff, I am far from putting anything in; I am just getting stuff together. So, when you rebuild the motor on the stand, you go with a one piece OEM? O.K. (But these ALU tubes are really beautiful!) I am still dismantling and still don't know what P/C's are in there. My gut-feeling is that the are KS (I can't be lucky twice!) Because it is done on the back of my 1/2 ton, the engine sits on the heaterboxes. Therefore, I cannot take the heads off since I have to turn the engine over to remove the headers/heaterboxes. I am taking as much off as I can before I turn it over. Man, there is sooooooooo much cleaning to do! Is there a short-cut to getting the grime/oil off the parts? ![]()

If those aluminum oil-return tubes are rather thick, and have a large, external spring to maintain pressure on the sealing rings ... they are an aftermarket set from IXXI Enterprises in Dallas TX. The O-rings should be standard sizes available at any industrial bearing & seal supply store.

Thanks Warren: They are as thick as the two-piece steel ones and pretty solid but, they don't have an external spring. When installed the two thin O-rings inside the tubes seal between the two pieces and the ends have the larger O-ring that goes into the case/camtower. To keep the two pieces extended, there is a third O-ring right where the circlip sits on the steel ones.
