Cup 1 rims from a 1994 964 will fit a 1987 911?

Hi, do you folks know if original Cup 1 rims from a 1994 964 will fit on a 1987 911 Coupe without using spacers?

I'm looking to buy a set and the seller is telling me they will fit fine on an '87...I'm just looking for some verification.

Is it the ones on craigslist? If so, I believe those are replicas that have the correct offset, basically a built-in spacer.

Nope, these are in Miami. They are the originals from a 1994 964.

I emailed some guy on craigslist about some Turbo Twist style rims, but never got a reply back.

If they are Factory, then you need 1" spacers in front, and 1" or 1.5" in back, depending on how much negative camber you're running.

Hmm .. to my knowledge anything past 89 had the "late" offset, et40-ish and above.

Edit: What Tyson said

The offset on the Cup rims (17x7/9) both f and r is 55.

The above are for fitment on a 964 on a 911 they all need spacers, depending on the app. 7JX17 55 needs ~31mm spacer in front, 9JX17 55 needs ~40mm spacer in back, different width spacers can be used to pull the wheel in or out a bit
