3.6 help engine vacum hose
what hose did you guys with sc cars hook up here, can i just put a small chrome breather on it, thanks, Kevin

Kevin, Fairly certain the bottom connector goes to power brake vacumn booster.Dan

this picture is of a 993 motor my motor is a 964, I cant see how its for brakes when its sucking, Kevin

Thought it was a
varioram engine. One of the connectors is the evaporative system ,the other goes to the power brake booster... and yes the booster uses vacumn to operate.The fitting to the evaporative system should have an electrical connector also. Dan

Hi
The bottom fitting is for the vacuum for the brake booster, and should be connected, No air is being sucked it to the engine, only vacuum for the brake booster. The top fitting is for the tank venting and should be connected to the evap system or blocked off.
