3.6 SC, smog muff and long nose conversion updates

Spent my B-day schlepping down to TRE and picked up my fenders, hood, front bumper and splitter for my SC--> long nose conversion. Got there at 0730....Of course Dave and Tyson weren't in....they musta had a L O N G early morning Latte break.

TODAY I pick the SC up from the muffler shop with the 993 converted heat exchangers...woohoo, now I have a defroster....I can live w/o heat....the morning fog is a beeyotch.

The muff guy is fabbing up the 2 inch into 1, 3 inch collector that feeds (with 02 sensor) a cat then the muff to a single 3 inch exit....at least that was the plan on Monday. Hopefully it will all fit behind the early style glass bumper.

Pics will be posted later today/tonight.

FYI....

The fiberglass pieces ran me about 2300 USD, plus paint and installation. Hood, two fenders, bumpers, lights, horn grills and splitter. The driver side fender required me to cut out the filler bucket for the tank, the fenders did not have the headlight adjustment tabs which I had to fabrocate as well...

I got the pieces from TRE....overall OK on workmanship...the gaps were a bit off, but that's F/G.
