Indicator Relay fault

Have replaced the indicator relay, and the indicators are now behaving themselves. But now both the green instrument lights that show which side is activated flash in unison rather than separately according to which way the indicator is moved. Is there likely to be a partial short somewhere? Ideas?

Pull your speedo dial out. Remove both indicator 'indicator' lights. Connect each to a good earth point (there should be one under the dash where all the wires go through the firewall). Then see if you get the same results. Good luck -M
