Bald spot on tire?
What would cause a bald spot on a tire? the tire in question has a bald spot on the inside and the car has been hit in the rear. The car drives straight and will get new tires for rear soon. the camber wear on the tires looks fine but what about that bald spot ? Could the car have been draged with a tire locked up. That is what looks like happened. Is it normal for one tire in the rear to have alittle bit more wear then the other tire. The Right rear has alittle bit more wear and is the tire with the bald spot on the inner part of tire.

Has it had a puncture repaired before? I've seen tyres wear more in the area that has been repaired, either through poor repair (too aggressive with the buffing on the inside) or the original cause of the puncture going in at an angle, cutting a cord or two as it goes in (making more a small rip than a hole) and weakening that part of the tread.
