Oil additive for 915 transmission?

My 915 has new synchros etc. and is still pretty stiff after about 3k miles.
Has anyone tried some additive to 80W90 GL5 oil for stiff synchros?
What additive worked in making it less stiff?
No, I am not going with Swepco.
And there is no problem with linkage adjustments.

You may get better feedback if you tell us which oil you are using. Castrol LSX90, Swepco, Lubrication Engineers ... these are all proven good oils for the 915.

No problem with linkage and the oil is 80W90 GL5 that JW puts in.
So, what additives has anyone tried?

A tube of friction reducer for lsd diffs cant hurt. Used to add this to rears and trans on other car types that were tight from a rebuild with no problems.
