				Need a value for wheels

I am selling my 87 Targa and will be putting the o/e Fuchs back on. What I have on it now are 7 & 8 x 16 Polished lip/gloss black, with Dunlop SP 5000 205 fronts and 245 rear, they have about 1500 miles on them. Realistically what are they worth?

I would say between $900-1500 if they are 16s depending on condition. If they are 15s, then maybe less..... Are SP 5000s great tires? If not, they don't usually factor in too much. Others may disagree -Chris

Wheels are 16" PERFECT, I like the Dunlops. Then again only 1500 miles.....local driving, no autocross....thats why the Targa is going, I need a Tip 993 for the power steering to relieve my shoulder pain... Maybe 70 year old guys shouldn't autocross

Poppycock! (did you like that one?) I see all ages at the AX. I won't speak for them, but ALL ages. I remember your thread about AX, the Carrera and the Tip. I AX this car and only use second gear, so shifting is a non-issue. Now, if you are after power steering, that's a whole different thing...... Best of luck with whatever you decide My car, a distant relative? And at an AX, this is a picture of a picture on my garage wall -Chris

Daka- DO NOT stop ax'ing! I just hope I live that long, and if I do- I WILL be ax'ing, if I'm not in the "home" that is. 2nd gear for me as well. Don't know about the 993 yet. YET.
