Will a front a/c condenser from an 84 fit an 82?
Just like the title says, I have a front a/c condenser for sale and someone with an 82 wants to buy it, but neither of us are sure if it will fit. Thanks,

Nope
The fittings for an 82 are flared, the fitting for 84 are o-rings. You can buy some adapters to convert the o-ring fitting to flare and than it will be able to connect up to the old hose, but if the owner is upgrading the hose he should consider o-ring fitting. |

What about the guard bar? Will the 84 fit an 82?

Ruf, this one is from an '83SC. The fittings look flared not O-ring, correct? So I think it will fit my '82 (Platinum Metallic, of course....)
Thanks

83 will be a flare fitting so it will fit a 82.
