pictures of unmolested MFI engine tin, please

The engine tin on my '72 MFI has been violated pretty badly in its past life. I'd like to repair it by welding it up right. Can some please post pics, in particular the rear-most piece by the fan.

Also, for the life of me I cannot remember where the two side hose route to beneath the tin. My hoses were missing/disconnected. I know the small hose on the left goes to the MFI cold start. Someone please refresh my memory on the other large hoses.

The large hose on the left goes up to the air intake assembly...the one on the right runs to the large outlet on the passenger side heat exchanger. There are holes in the engine tin for both to pass through. Sorry, no digital camera here...(edit)
If you're running SSI's, there won't be a place for your left hose to hook to beneath the tin. SSI eliminated this factory exchanger heat riser system. On the driver's side factory exchanger there is a tube for the hose to hook to.

o.k...now I'm convinced I need pics. It would also be great if I could get pics w/ stock Hxs and w/ SSIs.

pwd72s, I think I understand now. Part of my confusion is that the red hose was missing on my set up and the hole in the tin welded up. I still have the yellow and green hoses. If the SSIs are only missing the inlet for the red hose, then that's fine by me.

This was a helpful thread:
SSI heat exchangers & MFI

Bill, my fault...I should have mention BOTH of the large hoses on the driver's side. This dawned on me later today as I was doing cleaning stuff to my car. Yes, it's the hose with the red line leading to it that has been eliminated by SSI. It sounds like your car is running what is a pretty common change, the switch to SSI and the elimination of the red hose. I wish SSI made a true replica. I'd buy a set in a heartbeat if they did, then ceramic coat 'em gray. Anyway, my apology. I was only half right...
Glad you found that pic. It's a good one.

No surprise that Grady was the source of that pic. Thanks for the effort and follow-up.
