Yes, I'll be there in the Brumos Booster area.

No, you have to pay to get into what they call the "Fan Zone", then you have pretty much free reign. At the 24hr race it was like 35.00 in addition to your ticket price. The Brumos Booster deal is 59.00 and you get into the Fan Zone, food and non-alchy drinks, preferred parking, and access to the Brumos Club suite.

We are thinking of the infield. I would like to see practice and qualifying too. The Nascar race is going to be good too.

With my daughter going I needed to be able to get into air conditioning. That 79 includes food also.

Don, you had to pay 79.00? I bought mine, as a repeat wholesale customer for $59.00 each, directly from Brumos.

Having never seen the DP cars run, it was pretty cool. Good seats too, right at the exit of pit road, going into turn one.

I was looking for you Don, but couldn't figure out who your were. I was the guy in the Central Florida Region SCCA t-shirt.

Joe- I had my daughter there, she was the one stomping in all the puddles. I was in a greyish short sleve shirt. We were sitting in section 24 down in the front row at the start. I was thinking that we should get some hats with pelican on the front, and username on the back. Would make ID's easier. I didn't want to go around and say "Hi are you Joe?Jacko241?I'm dweymer". I had to leave early, who won GT/DP?

Butch Leitzinger in the #4 Boss car. I know, we should have slapped on Pelican stickers or something. I was with my bro in law, he had never been to an auto race of any kind, so I was showing him around. To be honest we spent an inordinate amount of time at the "Bistro", sampling some of their alchoholic libations...

Joe:

Great event. I tried to find the Brumos area. Thursday a.m. parked in the Brumos parking area. Walked to find Brumos desk to purchase ticket. Was hoping for a touring lap, but couldn't find the desk for tickets. Couldn't even park there. We enjoyed the paddock- prior to Daytona Prototype qualifying- until the downpour delayed DP qualifying.

Went to the beach. The ocean is awesome, and anytime I get a chance, I'm there. Ocean breeze was tame as the rain trickled over beach-goers. Every time I go to Daytona Beach I wish for a return to the days when there was racing here. That was an incredible era for Daytona.

The race was awesome! Porsche 996 race cars were looking good. I spoke with the guys at HRG. Every had only good things to say [Except for Tony Stewart's (congrats TS for a great Pepsi 400!) comment after the race (you know which one).]

I am glad that you and your Bro-N-Law had a great time. We did too. All week/weekend was great racing.

Jeremy:

I didn't find ya, but like the pics. We were in the infield too (the marschals at the tunnel gate asked me" is that your trunk? We had a great time. The Turbos are something when they gather, huh? I bet you know what I mean Met a couple Porsche guys. 911T are my favorite. 996TT guys were at the Bristo I guess. Couldn't strike up a conversation regarding sequential turbos.

The Bristo is an option for next year. Go Brumos 59!

The Pepsi for 400 made for an awesome first Rolex series race for you. Cheers!

Regards,
