Another CC Servo ?

I need someone to confirm 2 things

1. If you disconnect the CC electrical connector on the servo and then in turn with an ohm meter, ohm out each of the 2 pins on the servo with one of the probes attached to ground. Does the meter show a short?

2. If you move the throttle (at engine) does the cc cable easily move in/out of the servo?
