Will this wheel fit in my 964?

I'd like to get this for my 91, will it just swap out for the stock wheel/airbag? Are these available somewhere else?

Description in Ad -
Porsche 3 Spoke Steering wheel in excellent condition. Color is black. Includes Porsche Air bag assembly with the color crest embeded in the center of airbag. $600 shipped wihin the US.

Thanks!

There are not enough threads on the 964 steering column to safely install the later 3-spoke style wheels. Some people use locktite on the 2 or 3 threads that catch...not the safest however.

You can replace the 964 steering column with one from a 993 (direct replacement) and the wheel will bolt right up. This is what I did for my project.

Thanks, guess I will be looking for a 993 wheel then! What is the wheel I have pictured out of?

Wow, That chassis is so spotless. I am in the process of removing all the rear insulation and back seats to replace with RS Light weigh carpet. I can't believe how heavy all that foam is. Are you going to replace the foam and what did you youse to clean off all that adheasive?

I had the entire car acid dipped, then powder painted, then wet painted on the exterior surfaces.
