Still wondering what gets wet.
Car won't start AGAIN today.
Cranks fine. Wires are new, OEM. Cap was just replaced. Car stays covered and dry during rain. Seems to be high humidity related. Ground straps? Second suspect, have one of those cone filters, (I know, you don't have to say it, It's coming off this weekend and stock box is going back on) I've heard that they can get the MAS air sensor gummed up. Could humidity cause a dirty sensor to prevent the car from starting? Scott |
Classic DME relay failure.

Check the DME and DME Relay

You don't have Clewett wires do you? Do a search for some recent issues with them and moisture if you do.

Not the DME relay unless my spare is also bad.
Have a bad DME on the shelf that has not been rebuilt yet. Last time it was in the car the car ran, ran like crap but ran so I'll try it. Wires are OEM. Thanks. |
You still might be getting some condensation inside your distributor cap. Might be worth a check.
