Hole Grommet for Lower Plug Wires???

Does anyone have any suggestions for a hole grommet for the sheet metal hole originally used for the heater hose that I am using to route my lower plug wires?

Most rubber grommets are rated to about 210 deg F. How hot does this area get?

Tom,

It can easily get to 250°F - 300°F++ during a heat soak or waiting in line at the bank drive-up line ... due to exhaust system and cylinder heat vented right below that area!

Go to a commercial HVAC or electrical supply and look for some large snap-in metal plugs. Cut or punch a smaller 3/4" - 1" hole in the center, and seal the plug to sheetmetal, and plug wires to center hole with black silicone hi-temp sealant.

Or you could split some heater hose lengnth-wise and silicone it in there for added measure.
