Question Inside car Heat problem

Gentlemen: Heating Question?

1985 Porsche 911 Targa. This model year on the extreme left near the head light switch is a small vent used for air conditioning & heat the other one on the passenger side is on the right side of the glove box.

After the car is warmed up and moving you feel HOT AIR coming out this vent only(Driver side). Depending on the speed of the car the hot air flow is more when moving quicker. I went to my Bentley Service Manual. I do not have automatic heating. I checked all the cables for fresh air which seem to be opening and closing OK. Both levers for the defrost between the seats put on and off the flow of hot air.

Could it be with the heat exchanger on the drive side underneath the car not working properly? Any Ideas would be appreciated

Thanks: 84CAB Can this be lubed or fixed easily. The car color is black and on a hot day you roast . This problem even cuts down on the air conditioning to do its job.

check and make sure the boxes are opening all the way, if not they do have some adjustment. search the archives, i'm sure there is tons of info. on adjustment and operation of the heater boxes. another link showing the controls- disconnecting heat
