Removing old glue

Hello,

I am looking for some advice on a couple of items relating to replacing door and trunk-lid rubber seals.

Firstly, what do you recommend (product or technique) to remove the old, dried glue that someone has applied that in places has seeped out onto the bodywork. It has turned brown with age (not nice on white bodywork).

Secondly, what product woudl you recommend to attach new seals.

Thanks in advance.

Try using 3M Adhesive Solvent to remove the old glue. It works well and won't hurt the paint. Sometimes, once the glue has softened up a bit, you will be able to pull long pieces off.

Good luck!
