Both sets are P-zero Assymetrico with at leats 80% tread life remaining.

Please refrain from 996 bashing!! I also drive an SC.

edward993 07-31-2005 08:08 AM

I prefer the twists: cleaner looking and easier to clean :)

Edward

930addict 07-31-2005 08:26 AM

I like the BBS.

Oh Haha 07-31-2005 08:29 AM

BBS.

Spede 07-31-2005 08:47 AM

Keep 'em both! A rich 996 owner like you shouldn't have a problem hanging on to both sets. ;)

Mikkel 07-31-2005 08:48 AM

never been fond of those BBS. prefer the Twists.

trader220 07-31-2005 08:48 AM

They look like OEM Sport Classic II's NOT BBS

I believe they're OEM Sport Classic II's not BBS and I personally like those better.

carnutzzz 07-31-2005 08:50 AM

BBS and lower it a tad.

trader220 07-31-2005 08:55 AM

here is a shot of the S.C. II's

These appear to be what you're calling BBS's

MIK911 07-31-2005 08:56 AM

BBS. Period.
Twists look too....uh..stock. Most 996s i see look like they did the day they left the showroom. At least the bbs adds a little 'enthusiast modified' look. (a good thing)

bbs for sure.

techweenie 07-31-2005 09:17 AM

The BBS/Porsche wheels set your car apart a bit from the rest. The 'technology' wheels are a lot more common and there are cheap replicas everywhere.

We are both right! Sport classic II are BBS wheels.

Sameer 07-31-2005 09:21 AM

keep the BBS

imcarthur 07-31-2005 09:25 AM

BBS/SCII look much better imho.

Ian

Craig Stevens 07-31-2005 09:34 AM

Sell the Twists. Craig

darkbeer 07-31-2005 09:46 AM

Twist & shout..........

"BBS" look wimpy

techweenie 07-31-2005 09:54 AM

Shoulda made this a poll, I guess. What's it now, about 50/50?

jtratza 07-31-2005 09:57 AM

SCII/BBS. Friend has them on his black 996 turbo and they look great. Twists look good but I seem to see them on everything down/up to including VW's.

Elombard 07-31-2005 10:06 AM

BBS - hate the twists

JBO 07-31-2005 10:07 AM

BBS

Seeeu911 07-31-2005 10:30 AM

Love the Twists..hate the BS..er BBS

Yellowbird RS 07-31-2005 10:37 AM

love the BBS but I'm not sure how they look in your car sell both and get a set of lightweight 5 spokes

Racerbvd 07-31-2005 12:06 PM

I prefere the Sport Classic II's by BBS, just got a set for my C4. Keep the twist for track wheels.

87coupe 07-31-2005 12:08 PM

BBS

JeremyD 07-31-2005 12:49 PM

keep the BBS

Paul K 07-31-2005 01:22 PM

BBS.

Glasgow 911SC 07-31-2005 01:22 PM

Keep the BBS. The Twists look terrible on any car, any where..... Cup 1 & 2 look way better for that type of wheel.

golfnow 07-31-2005 02:31 PM

BBS Yep lose the twists

efhughes3 07-31-2005 02:40 PM

I've never liked the twists. Maybe if they made RH and LH versions, I'd be OK with 'em, but the fact that they are pointing in different directions depending on the side of the car, they bug me.

kycarguy 935 07-31-2005 02:44 PM

The BBS look great on that car.

klaucke 07-31-2005 03:24 PM

Keep whichever set is lighter. They both look good, so you might as well keep the better set, performance wise.

Dan in Pasadena 07-31-2005 03:39 PM

TWISTS!

Okay, that oughta be emphatic enough. The BBS will look dated just like, well......the old gold and silver BBS do on 80's cars.

dsdw40 07-31-2005 06:43 PM

twist me

Mike Navarro 07-31-2005 08:16 PM

I like the twists. Never have cared for that BBS look.

aways 07-31-2005 08:20 PM

Keep twists... sell BBS.

jorian 07-31-2005 10:24 PM

BBS - more distinctive than the twists everyone else runs.

N11Porsche 07-31-2005 10:39 PM

I've always thought BBS wheels were ugly and rice but those BBS wheels look nice. Either set looks good on your 911.......

You can't be serious ... rice? BBS's are "euro", like our cars. They're made in Germany.
