Porsche Crest Rim center question...

Another very simple question from a Porsche "newbie"... The center emblems in the rims of my wife's 911 are loose (they are the "cup" style aluminum 5 spoke rims). How do you tighten them up?

Take the wheels off and pop them off. You will see three prongs. You can try to gently pry them out a bit. Be careful as they are plastic. This should tighten them up some. Another trick is to put a small amount of clear silicone where they sit on the rim. Just enough to fill in the space.

EDIT: You CAN pry them off without taking the wheels off but it is very easy to scratch around the cap. Use a thin knife or pick tool.

I just looked at mine and there are actually 5 prongs. Sorry about that.
