Been reading about the sensors so far I belive the oil pressure sensor needs changeing and the tach will need updating to the later one, can you think of anything else? Does the 3.2 still require the rear fuse panel? |
the pins in the 14 pin rectangular connector -- the one without any explanation in the schematic as to which pin is which
- also oil temp. maybe - you might think of something clever to do with the 3.2 htr blower wires... - yes you still need part of the 3 fuse panel -- not the sportomatic fuse but you can use it for something or other |
Does anyone have a wiring schematic for the 3.2 engine not particually looking for individual wires just general overview of what connects to what?
Thanks Steve |
a few links that may/may not help

Right I now have my 3.2 engine and most of my parts for my conversion the only bit of info I havent been able to find out is where the fuel pump on the 3.2 is powered from? Does it have a seperate fuel relay trigered from the DME or is the fuel pump power supplied from the DME relay? If anyone could supply me with a Pin number this would be much apreciated.

The fuel pump is driven by the DME relay which is really 2 relays in one package. One relay powers the DME and the other powers the fuel pump. In a 3.2 it is located under the seat next to the DME so look for the socket in the harness near there.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1124895320.jpg I have the pinout in several formats (text, spreadsheet and html) but I can't figure out how to post it. Is there some sort of way to post a table? My pinout table includes helpful notes on what the pins do. -Chris |
Hi thanks for the reply do you know what pin on the DME relays is the output live for the fuel pump?
