Yes thats why we will have an Auto for the Hyundai project, the trip will be the answer BUT theres a few problems

1) No one has done it on early cars that I am aware off
2) People using them have reported troubble with the clutches
3) Money will be a HUGE factor as you will have to go alone, just look at the troubble you have been having and that should not be like that.
4) Both NHRA and Nopi will not pass a car like that at the Tech inspection
5) More Money will be needed

Of course we can have all the answers from the bench racing fellows but to carry on the task it will be a huge task, we start to look into and then give up when we got to the electronic part of things, all do rodriguez wants to do it on my car.

I just dont have the energy needed for the Porsches anymore.

I need a new and fresh start thats why the Hyundai Tiburon is looking so good.

Weight is the enemy of speed and the bane of TTs as they are upwards of 3200 lbs. They have to be heavily modified to run with me also. In the future I will have to upgrade to the G50. Car weighs in at 2500 lbs wet right now and after some more dieting I think I will be at 2200-2300 but I don't think I can get any lower with real glass. BTW that's a nice redline, mine is at 7000 and I also bury the speedo but estimate through gearing, tire and RPM that it is redline limited at approx. 185. I don't recall which mag has the article but they ran 1/4 times for a bunch of twin turbos with RWHP up to approx 840. The best time the got was 11 flat at 140 mph. Launches were a problem as was clutch slip. I will find the article for you if you don't already have it. They were all very BIG BUCK cars 150K and much more.

Best regards,
Gerry

I agree, I don't see how they did so bad given the numbers they claimed to produce. Also, there were a lot of mechanical failures and malfunctions. I could never live with that kind of unreliability, especially with the absurd money that was spent.

About my diet, would it have a cage and still be streetable?

Nope thats not the answer, just like I told you 3 years ago, build an evo and spank the Porsches, everyone think this cars are so fast THEY ARE NOT!

Unless you really have money and I mean real money 150k to spend once you get all this power lets said 1000hp auto the entire enchillada all is needed is one failure and there you go, but if you can deal with that then........... hell yes

would it have a cage and still be streetable?

If you dont mind bending like a snake to get in and out, I dont know the rules for the Porsche circle world but maybe removable side bars.

HMMM, 600-700 HP and 1900-2000 lbs.

2000/700 = 2.9 HP/Lb

Call me Snaky Pete !!!

Gerry

PS I will PM you about how to cut weight out. Thanks for the help.

Ta930

I have known about them for a very long time, we even have some of their bits on the other 911 from our camp, Funny thing is you see in all the Porsche Boards all this misleading information and heres this guy making all this power when here in USA most people dont think it can be done

Eveyone always claim that 450 was it for CIS and here we have 627 HP 930 with CIS.

There`s an old timer out here on the island that has a speedshop in his backyard . He sells Cam II . He seems to always have at least 10 barrels in stock at any given time . I do know that the price has not changed recently even with the increase of pump gas these days . I hope it does not go up .

Thanks for the link. A few years back I was at Rennsport 1 at Limerock Conn. and they had two 917-30 turbo panzers there good for between 1200-1500 HP. The engines looked like the torque monster from this site. Very cool.

Best regards,
Gerry

Why not ? the guy done it

Is possible to make 600rwhp with stock rods ? stock oil pump? case never been open ? factory original main bearings ? stock TB?

We did

And my all time favorite, a 911 will explode if you run more than 1 bar
