Tbitz EFI tuning questions

I have completed installation of my BitzRacing EFI on my 79SC 3.0. Wow this thing rocks. I searched around and found a million threads related to this but nothing about the VE table or the tuning aspect of it in layman terms, I'm sure it is on here any clues. I have a pop during acceleration and need some insight as to the desired settings. I have pics and would like to get it tuned before posting the complete story. Anyone?
Mike

Have you signed up for the Megasquirt forums at: www.msefi.com ?? There is a wealth of help available there from folks who have been doing it since Megasquirt was a gleam in someone's eyes.

Mike,

Poping in the intake is an indication of lean mixture.

If this is occuring when the engine is fully warm, then you need to fine tune the VE table. If poping when cold, then you need to adjust the "cold enrichment" values.

You can adjust the VE table manually, or use the "MSTweak 3000" software.

You can download the software from here:
http://www.msefi.com/dload.php?action=category&cat_id=28

Read the users guide (It isn't the most detailed). Here is another link with info about MSTweak:
http://www.diyautotune.com/tech_articles/Using_MSTweak_to_tune_your_MegaSquirt.htm

Shoot me an email directly if you have questions.

Cheers,
