Looks awesome Phil!

Did he say whether he could arrange the tanks to handle a J-pipe arrangement?

Albert is a really nice guy to work with. Who makes the cores for his IC?

jpahemi 08-17-2005 09:56 PM

What's the presure drop number across the IC from inlet to outlet?

Very nice! Congrats :)

Nice looking IC!

It would have been interesting to see a pciture of the inlet and outlet necks and also do you have to fabricate custom piping to connect to the Turbo Outlet and the TB?

This is the No. 1 problem with aftermarket Intercoolers for the 911s is the end tank fabrication, and the convenient location of the necks to make these connections simple.

Would love to see some mock-up pics of it installed.

No need for the j pipe, using custom GHL headers, protosport in NJ is doing all work, once they r done will post some pics.

Dave: Any Shipments arrive ??

Hi Phil

The J-pipe question was selfishly for me ;)

I'm expecting Todd to ship me my goods for the conversion this week. It's keeping me awake at night obsessing over it. At this rate, I'll probably pull an all nighter and get it installed in one 15 hour span :)

Good Luck with the project. ;)

It's keeping me awake at night obsessing over it.

Good old days................ :) :)

l bought my intercooler from that guy also.l`m using a silicon elbow to connect to the MSDS cast aluminum MAF adapter. For the inlet side its easier, just a silicon pipe from the turbo.l initially had hard pipes but the length was so short l don`t think the silicon will affect the throttle response so much.l had a Mitsu VR4 that l replaced all the turbo plumbing on,using custom aluminum tubing instead of the rubber lines. The difference in throttle response was amazing

juan ruiz 08-18-2005 01:15 PM

Your best bet for a CIS car is to contact Stephen from www.ImagineAuto.com . They sell Kokeln intercoolers for the 930.

OR, you could source a second hand C2 Turbo intercooler and have that fitted to your car.

RideShoot&Drink 08-19-2005 09:44 AM

Merv, thanks a lot for your reply. How hard would be to fit C2 intercooler to 930? Does it require some custom fittings? Thanks again!

The pressure drop is .5 @ 15 lb.
