Well guess I'm in the club now

I would like to start off first by saying thanks to all the pelican members here. I have been perusing through the site for about 6 months now researching 911's. Well today I finally sealed the deal on an 87. I am really happy with the deal I got. I traded a wr250r and 850t5r for it. Never was a fan of the Volvo. It was fine for what it was, but just never fell in love with it. The Porsche on the other hand was love at first drive. I used to race shifter and TaG karts, then did a little stint with time attack and auto x before school took up all my time. Now I have time again, and so happy to be back into a proper car.

The place I bought it from is a Porsche restorer so currently the car is apart and they are replacing the following.

Engine:

All new oil lines
New front and rear main seals
New valve gaskets
Full tune up and all valves adjusted

Transmission:
Full rebuild on the G50
New Clutch
re-surface flywheel

Brakes:
Bleeding the system
New Pads
Caliper Rebuild

Body:
Just fixing all the cosmetic stuff, nicks and such

Anyway here are the pics. Can't wait to pick it up next week!

Thanks all, I can't wait.

However, it is taking all the financial restraint possible right now to not pull the trigger on on an M&K cat bypass and exhaust, sounds so good. I know it would be better money on a spare set of wheels and tires to run in STR.

Just last week I renewed my SCCA membership and was even able to get my old number back. I know tires will make me a hell of a lot quicker than the maybe 10 hp I would gain from an exhaust setup
