Neat car!

Why do they call it "Mad Cow Disease?" - PMS was already taken.

Have you talked him into cranking up the boost yet? That car is killer but it really needs 1 bar to complete the package.
Is he tracking it yet?

In case anyone out there doesn't know Paul, i can vouch that he is more than capable of driving it at the limit. He's one of those guys that would be fast in a yugo.

Hey, I just saw that car at Monterey last weekend!

Pretty cool car, but one flaw in the paint job that I noticed: In some places (cuts of meat) on the car, the German word 'stuck' (piece or part) is rendered as 'stuck' with the umlaut, and in others, as stueck (the standard spelling if the umlaut is not used). Should be consistent everywhere on the car. Can you say nit-pick?

That car's paint always prompted comments like "interesting", "Unusual", and "she's a good dancer".

Now it's awesome! That's making a silk purse from a sow's ear. Or is it a cow's ear?

David, IIRC, there was a 917 team sponsored by someone who wanted the cars painted pink. At the last minute, the sponsor bailed.

Left with a bunch of pink 917's, they decided to put on graphics of the different cuts of meat on a pig.

This is just a way of making the most of an unfortunate color just like the 917 team did. Only since the car is brown, it Dave thought it should be done in beef cuts.

Looks good with the 934 front and wider fenders. What sorta mods it has on it? Any engine pics?

Hey, what part of "IIRC" did you not understand?

I'm no racing history whiz, that's for sure. I just ask Jeremy.

The 917/20 was painted in pink for the 24 hours race with names of pieces of meat written across it, the car earned the nickname "Pink Pig".
