Anyone ever make an H1 trim ring out of an H4 ring?
Can't find an H1 ring. All I need is something to hold the lens and the adjusting screws. I'm gonna use a primered cover over it. So, while looking at the H4, I see 2 of the adjuster holes are in the same spot, just need 2 more. Now, I could make some kind of a die to punch this, I think. Any ideas?
Shoot, if it's good enough, I could replate them and have them for others when they mess them up. I don't understand why there are none available. When was the last time the H1 was manufactured? |

drill the two holes and fab a male and female die to create the countersink, then squeeze them together, or use a small nut and bolt to draw them in. there are some streetrod tools that punch a hole and countersink at the same time, but they're probably too big
