Man, that sucks. I guess we all have to do it sooner or later, eh?
The DE was unbelievably awesome - so good I signed up for Mosport within 12 hours of getting home! Can't wait for it! Sorry for hijacking the thread Martin - at least it'll stay at the top!

Thats one of the reasons for the question because I watch your run threads with envy because I WORK SATURDAYS,my tough luck, and also just to get to the starting point would be a run from here, would like to get the same thing started on this side of the fence and maybe all meet for a real big one sometime,Marty

I'm in for a meet (Toronto but I keep my car in Markham). There also is a great guy with a fantastic 71 911S, Tenzin, in Newcastle near Oshawa who can be convinced to come out to a meet.
Christien, I have your PP parts except the strut bracket. I'll be back in town Monday....anybody want anything while I'm in NY?

Hi Guys
There's also a 911 guy - new on Rennlist - around Port Perry & another new guy here with a Speedster in Toronto who posted on the last SW Ontario thread. Both are interested in runs. Paul would probably be game too. We could get something going . . . maybe some of the roads north of Bowmanville etc. Ian

I remember someone telling me (it might have been you, Ian) that there are some awesome driving roads to the north and a bit east of Toronto, so I'm up for that. Bowmanville's a bit of a hike from here, but that's ok. So is Mosport :-)

There are some FANTASTIC driving roads northeast of Toronto and near Mosport. I went to the last 911 day there and the ride off the highway to the track was great. I don't know about Sept. 11 though....that's just begging for trouble....

I'll be travelling until mid-month & then I'm going on the PCA run on the 18th (assuming I solve my seized fuel pump).
So, I can't until the weekend of Sept 24/25. Ian

See you there, Pete.
I ordered a fuel pump today from Pelican. $210 Not cheap. They are shipping it to my hotel in Indy next week (save taxes etc etc) & I should just have time to install it the following week when I get home. I hope that's all it was . . . Ian

What about a weeknight?
I find it hard to get out on a weekend due to family obligations.
Maybe sometime we should do an after work run up north of the city. Say meet at Hwy 27 and Steeles at 7:00pm and do an evening run up to the Hockley Valley and back or something. Thoughts? |

Boy I wish I could consider another drive with you guys, I'm getting the 911 out from the shop after a quick carb adjust. However fell last week during the flood and busted up my left arm(Left handed) real bad. had operation for plates last week and will be a while till i can work or play.
Miss driving my little white cab. I put about 50 miles on the 911. bummer. Have fun guys Larry
