'84-'89 Motronic: Metal tube behind AFM boot?
Guys,
There is a thin metal tube which goes into the back of the Rubber Boot between the AFM and Throttle body. Is this the Brake Booster line, also referred to as the Venturi Line? Please confirm.

My brake booster line comes off a nipple on the intake runner, and from the rubber elbow between the TB and AFM.
But I don't think the metal tube is the venturi piece? I replaced the plastic wye piece and it was called the venturi tube.

Yup, I confirmed with Todd of Protomotive that the metal tube can be blocked off. It's not really required on the forced induction setup.
