How do I disconnect the warning buzzer on an '87 coupe?
What sets it off anyway? Usually as soon as the engine starts, the buzzer stops so I figure it's a key in the ignition buzzer. Can't seem to find any info about it in the Bentley's. Just looking for the easiest was to shut it off or fix it. TIA.

I forget which one but if you remove either your gas, oil, or speedometer dials you will wee the buzzer inside the dash. You just pull it out.

I yanked the relay/buzzer. It couldn't have been easier to find. Thanks!

It's called the seat belt warning relay, btw. P/n 916 618 102 00 and our host carries it for $58 not incl shipping.

you can also pull the plug that's on the stalk of the steering lock unit.

Can you also jumper the seat belt input? The buzzer goes off when you buckle up, doesn't it?
