I did it! I did it!
Two months after the engine drop, it went back into the car tonight. Please understand that my first post here was how do I change the fuel filter. What has it been...4 years.
I had plenty of help. The Houston engine drop party was a blast. There must have been a dozen SC and Carrera's on my street. There was plenty of help. Thunder, Garry and 125shifter helped along the way as well as some other non-Pelicanheads. Wayne's gasket kit, Dan's cylinders and John Walker's advise also helped. But after all of that, it's back into the car. Tomorrow, I will connect the electrical, oil hoses, clutch, half axle, etc. and then, hopefully, varuum...varuum! Sorry, no pics to post.

Congrats!!! I had mine out for a few months, and it seemed like an eternity. Great experience, saved a ton of money doing it myself, and actually enjoyed all the work done with the engine on the stand. Sure feels good when you fire it up and drive away!!!

The Lord blesses those that have the motivation and brass to work on their own 911 engines.
please spread the faith and you shall experience eternal bliss. [I can't confirm the 70 virgins.]
