Help again on dome light Switch

Still need more help on this Dome Light Switch Problem


Caught the Wire on the first try on both sides !!!!
The wire is pretty thick .
But now I have New problem .
Attached both new switches but light will not go off when I close the door . Yes the Dome light is in the Middle Position , what am I doing wrong??? HELP !!!!

The door switch grounds when the door is openned (brown wire for switch denotes ground). I think you are grounding somewhere else now, thus the light is staying on all the time. Check and see if the wire is touching somewhere.
