Porsche Crest how do I drill out steering lock for track?

Suggested by Widebody911 but, I'm not sure how to do this.. I assume its to keep it from failing andlocking on the track???

Going from memory I believe there is a steering lock mechanism in the back portion of the mechanical portion of the ignition switch. You need to remove that piece to eliminate the steering locking.

yeah I got it all out.. didnt know the preferred way to remove it. Just hack it off the side of the ignintion switch or if there is actually a place to drill that will cause it to all drop out...Thom had phrased it as "drill out"

I removed the cap on the side and drilled itenough that the thing fell out... curious how everyone else removed it.
