Front Valence !?!?!?!
As a result of vermin attempting to cross I-90, I need to replace the front valence of my '74. Rubber piece OK, metal too mangled to straighten.
Actually find a friend that has unpainted valence for my year (no fogs) and a painted for later year (bolt on fogs). Looking at the two items I notice a difference other than fog mounting holes. The contour of the botom of each valence (part closest to road) is identical. however while looking down, contour closest to bumper is more squared on the early version, versus the later???? What's more puzzling is that the contour of my damaged valence is exactly like the later, late style. anyone know what's correct? Thanks, Don

All 911 n/b valances from '74 -'89 should be interchangeable. There were some differences in fog mounts, the biggest change there was from '83 external mount to '84 internal mount.
Another difference is the size of the hole in front of the cooler.

Thanks Bill. I do think the two are interchangeable. Just not sure if I'll like the look of the more squared replacement + curious which is original. I'll take photos tonight.
