What Tim said about removing the oil is important. When I did mine years ago, someone told me to put some oil in there to help with cooling. I don't know if it was the oil that blew out the wiper seal at the top of the strut or not but when I mentioned the oil=cooling thing to Bilstien they said not to do it.

Thank You All very, very much - I did it !!

The clip for the oil line on fender wall and almost breaking a vessel in the back of my brain pulling out the old cartridge and compressing the new gas shock. The rest was easy. :rolleyes:

Left side 5 hours - wright side 40 minutes.

Anyway - thanks a million guys !! :)
